“Room was clean, we stayed in the lodge, so could park the car directly outside our room. Very dog friendly hotel, bar has a good selection of beers and wines,food was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. ”

“We were the only people staying in the hotel on Friday so our breakfast was prepared freshly. I don't know if they do a buffet if it's busy but I suspect not as it's a small hotel. “Only stayed for one night but will certainly be back, the hotel is an old coaching inn from the 1800’s and if you are looking for a bland, anonymous place it’s not for you, quiet, friendly, warm and comfortable with character and quirks, my room had a 10” thick mattress ( i’m sad, i measured it ) with very good quality bedding that gave me a superb night’s sleep and even a settee to lounge on while i watched the good sized tv, views out of my windows were of Lickey forest.
