“We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Kettle Valley Beach Resort. Unfortunately, the property was nothing like it appeared in the online photos. The cabin was dirty when we arrived, with bugs on the floors and walls, and there were used, dirty washcloths hanging in the bathroom. The overall cleanliness was so poor that we didn't even want to take our shoes off inside. The entire place smelled old and stale, making it feel anything but comfortable or relaxing. “Room was pretty dirty, sand on the floors and wouldn’t recommend going barefoot unless you want black feet after five minutes. There’s no house keeping and nothing is provided to sweep the floors with, which isn’t ideal having kids who leave a trail of crumbs everywhere they got. The “foot wash station” was disgusting, with the drain clogged and full of cigarette butts.”

“The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere anytime you used it. Otherwise, this place was an awesome place to stay with my two young niece's they had a great time in the pool and the location couldn’t be better. The BBQs were also a really great option so that we could cook our dinners outside. One of the BBQ’s was not working and could use a clean.”

“We almost didn't write a review because, selfishly, we wanted to keep this little gem a secret! The Beachside Motel is a fantastic place to stay, a classic throwback to a simpler time while still being exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is hard to beat, just a block from the beach, and the atmosphere around the property is wonderful. The attached ice cream stand is a great bonus and adds to the charm.
