“The positives: Clean bed, linens and overall general upkeep was good. The negatives: Some standard items that I would have expected were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room to double check your outfit before heading out. I also didn't an ironing board or iron but this might be available at the front desk, I didn't ask as I didn't need it. “The breakfast offered good options such as scrambled eggs, waffles and cold cereals. The parking was outside my sliding door on my 1st floor room.”

“Everything was great. The staff at check-in were friendly and very helpful. The condo was clean and welcoming. Very we'll equipped. Carriage Ridge is in a beautiful peaceful location. Have been going there for many years and will return in the near future.”

“Nice roadside type motel. Although they did not have an ice machine there, the owner went upstairs to his family's living area and brought me down a small bucket of ice cubes. Air conditioning worked well, blinds were nice and dark keeping light out. And signs posted regarding no loud parties or music. Quite peaceful - loudest noise was the traffic. “The room had no air conditioning it was on a wall and did not do anything except blow air. The room was handicapped and we didn’t ask for that as we didn’t have any storage in the bathroom. It also was taking away from anyone who did need an accessible room. The tiles in the bathroom were wobbly and coming apart on the floor. “We loved the pool and the easy access to the water toys like kayaks and paddle boards. They supplied the life jackets which was helpful and supplied all the linens, towels and even provided soap and shampoo. It is a beautiful firepit and nice sandy volleyball pit. There isn’t swimming off the dock, as the water is full of reeds but the water is clean and lots of opportunities to go out into deeper water to swim. We loved it!”

“There was no one there when we arrived at the motel , then our room wasn’t ready and they asked us to come back in an hour , then once we got the room there were no towels . We asked for towels . They said they were going to bring us towels and they never did . ”
