“Property seemed pretty clean. However, the front desk attendant seemed super confused about our checking in. When we got our room key and went to our room someone was already occupying the room! It smelled of marijuana too. We were then put in a double queen room and the hair dryer was missing out of the bathroom- looked like someone cut the cord off of it! Loud people all through the night.”

“L'hotel è confortevole e gradevole anche architettonicamente, è situato appena fuori dal centro di Rapid City che comunque non offre molto tranne alcuni buoni locali dove mangiare e qualche negozio, il centro è facilmente raggiungibile in 5 minuti di auto. Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni in quattro persone in una stanza sufficientemente ampia e comoda, pulizia della stanza ottima.Colazione e piscina nella norma. Buon punto di appoggio per visitare Mount Rushmore e le altre attrattive della zona...

“Bedding was dirty, no shower curtain, staff wasn’t very polite”

“We will be back. Our daughter forgot her stuffed animal she loves, and the hotel staff were great about it. I texted the number they greeted me with that had said if I had any questions I could reach out on the line. They quickly messaged back and they found her animal. We were able to get a shipping label created and they got it sent back to us. The hotel is very clean with a nice gym. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you again to the amazing staff.”

“Old room with old furniture falling to pieces, fitted carpet smells like a cigar, 2 crashed cars parked outside, scam breakfast (just coffe, PBJ, and out-of-date bagel). Such a shame, because the hall was nice and the cleaning very good. You can find better place nearby. Not recommended.”

“The hotel was under construction. There was no breakfast to speak of. The pool was not able to be used. There was not a 2nd set of curtains for privacy. I am not happy with our stay.”

“Close to the 90 and Mt Rushmore. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Warm fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Used the whirlpool and pool and liked them fine. Across the street from Mongolian BBQ which we loved. Clean comfortable room and beds.”

“Everything was great with this hotel! Rooms were clean and the staff on the front desk were friendly. The woman working breakfast was so quick with refilling and cleaning by herself. Would recommend this place to everyone . Thank you Hampton hotel!”

“I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look...

“Hotel was build together with a Hampton hotel. Many of the amenities such as pool, exercise room etc are actually next door requiring a long walk. When I checked in, was given room 205…it was suggested that I could carry my luggage up the stairs OR use the elevator…in that order…I understand once I found the elevator about 75 yards basically in the Hampton. We used the stairs after that including bouncing our suitcases”

“I'm not a big fan of going to a pool area that smells like chlorine. It's too overwhelming.”

“My mom, brother, and I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. It was clean and comfortable and there were enough towels (never happens!). The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!”
