“This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

“We loved the apartment! Very clean, comfy beds, and the perfect location for access to activities: beaches and rock hunting, copper mine tours, hiking and cross country skiing trails. There was no smell of fish since the nearby fish shop was closed. Would definitely stay here again!”

“Overall a really good property at a reasonable price. With a few improvements this place would have five stars but the would not let that deter me from another stay. Plenty of room, clean house with everything you need to feel at home. My only recommendation is to get some actual bed pillows instead of the decorative ones that are on the beds.”

“Super easy stay. Everything very nice and new. Simple layout with large kitchen/living room area. Worked great for my family of 8!!!! Did have the circuit pop when we ran too many appliances in the kitchen, but reset it and a little later the microwave reset so we could use it again. Other than that no issues. Really liked the house!”

“My wife and I were looking for a place to get away for a weekend with our dogs and this place is absolutely perfect for that! It's very quiet and private when we were there and we spent most of our time on the beach. The house has everything you need and is in an excellent location to go out and explore the UP while you're there.”
