“We got to the hotel at 8pm and found out upon arrival that the hotel was overbooked and our stay was canceled. The hotel never communicated this to Expedia, whom I booked through. We were in OH for a rock festival so 90% of hotels were entirely booked and the other 10% were charging 2x or 3x usual rates. It was not only a massive inconvenience and extremely dishonest practices, but an insane surprise expense to pay double at a different hotel. Elijah, the desk attendant, was very apologetic and...

“Expedia said there was breakfast, but kitchen was closed for remodeling. Wasn’t motels fault, but was a hassle for us because I was expecting to not have to deal with worrying about breakfast. Staff was TERRIFIC & everything was very clean.”

“This was a fair place to stay before an early flight out of Columbus. Short drive to the airport in the morning and clean enough that I didn’t worry about sleeping there. Slightly funny smell in the hallway but could’ve been the food that other patrons had delivered.”

“We really enjoyed our stay but the staff made an error I need to report. We checked in early (3PM) and were assigned a room. It was fine but when my son checked in with his family (4 people) at 10, we discovered that we were assigned his room. We have the same name. However, the room we were assigned had 2 queen beds and the room he was assigned had 1 king bed. It was impossible for him to accept that room because it was not possible to sleep 4 people in one king size bed. So, at 10:30 PM...

“This hotel is a unique experience, great for beer lovers or travelers with dogs. We love being greeted with complimentary beers. The food is not as good as when we stayed five years prior. It used to be the best breakfast we have had at a hotel, but now is a lot more standard. Hotel staff are friendly, the rooms are clean except for a few small details like vents. Someone had been smoking outside and the scent was getting brought in by the A/C unit in the night.”

“Never stayed at a Tru before. Very interesting, modern property. Lots of personality! Wonderful lobby and dining areas with spacious comfortable seating. Room was small but immaculate and comfortable with excellent large TV.”
