“The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place.”

“The view was just beautiful of the harbor. The room was clean and very comfortable. Nicely furnished, interesting artwork. It’s above a cafe, so convenient for morning coffee. Easy walk up from the ferry terminal and close to a lovely little park. Walking distance to shops and dining. Would certainly recommend and would book again. ”

We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards. Where it really fell short was the experience and service. “The most comfortable beds and beddings. So clean and fresh- nice and new. Smelt nice. One suggestion is to have a fan in the room as there was no air flow and I was hot. Floors creeked above me and walls were thin so I could hear people. This kept me up and woke me up. Overall the place was nice. ”

“For what this is (a cabin in a campervan park), it was excellent. The cabin was private, clean, and quiet. There's obviously no view and the amenities are all shared (shared bathroom/toilets/showers, shared communal area) but everything was in pretty good/decent shape. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel but it's not pretending to be that. For the value and what you pay for (and for just one night where you're getting in fairly late and leaving somewhat early), it's excellent. ”
