“We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. “It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value.
