Hotel vicino a Pine Island - West Monroe

“This hotel had the biggest pet fee than any other on our trip. I am ok with a deposit for a pet but I should not have to pay more. Our dog is cleaner, quieter, and better behaved than children that do not cost extra …the kids during this stay ran down the hallways and made lots of noise in their rooms.”

“Pulled back covers and found large stained area on sheets. Went to front desk and was offered another room on higher floor but elevators were not working. Was told house keeping was not available to replace bedding. So I booked another hotel and left ”

“Not a horrible place but the floor in our room had a hump in it running the whole length and raised about 1-1/2". Either structural damage or damage from the humidity from the pool being under the room. One of the lights was hanging off the wall. the couch bed was pretty old and not comfortable at all. Pillows were stained. Staff was great though. I didnt tell them these issues because i dont like being "that guy"”

“When we arrived there were many holes in the wall. There was even one that when we turned the shower on had water spraying out of it. The next morning breakfast was not prepared correctly. Lots of things were missing. We were able to switch rooms the next day but woke up with bed bugs.”

However, the room door didnt lock and the joining room door didnt lock either, so they had the wardrobe blocking the door just enough the next door neighbors couldn't get into our room. We definitely weren't safe from having visitors. The toilet flushed if you held it down a few times but it took some extra effort. “My reservation was for 4 guests in a room with one king bed and a sofa bed. Upon arrival, the sofa bed was not prepared and did not have any sheets, blankets, or pillows available for use. This made the sleeping arrangements inadequate for the number of guests included in the reservation. Additionally, the elevator was out of service, creating a major inconvenience during our stay. “The desk attendant was surly and did not have any welcoming remarks. We were not informed where we could find easy access or local amenities. The room didn’t not have a deadbolt on it.
