“We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!”

“If traveling by car, this is a splendid place to stay in the Duro Valley. Staff and room were very nice. A wonderful breakfast was included, which seems to be a vanishing practice in Europe these days. The hotel offers diner (not included) as well. The town of Tabuaco is quite small so dining options near by are limited. We would stay there again.”

“La propriétaire est charmante, malgré qu' elle ne parle pas un mot d'anglais ni de français, elle se débrouille avec son téléphone et nous donne tous les renseignements nécessaires et les bons restaurants où aller. Le déjeuner est très bon, un vrai déjeuner familial. L' etat des lieux n' est pas parfait mais l' expérience humaine avec les propriétaires compassent totalement. Une vraie immersion portugaise que je referais sans hésiter. ”
