“Fishers Hotel is an old hotel but has some charm. Our room was nice and big. Lights flickered and dusty chandelier would be my only complaint. Cleaning crew left wine glasses that had been used the whole stay instead of replacing with clean ones. Overall a 4/5 stars. Super convenient hotel.”

Breakfast was delicious.
Loved the attention to detail, we were given a welcome drink, also there’s a seating area set up near rooms, providing sweet and savoury snacks.
On checkout we were also given a leaving treat( small bag of assorted sweets). All greatly appreciated.

“A lovely family-run hotel. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which had an excellent superking bed, and plenty of storage space. The ensuite was spacious and clean, as was the shower. Water pressure for the rainfall shower was a bit of an issue.
The seating area was good with a table and chairs, as well as a sofa for two. The TV was a good size but the remote control needed a refresh. A fridge would have been welcome in the suite.

“We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie.
