“What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk.”

“We had 10 friends for a birthday gathering and these units were perfect. The two units are connected by balcony and can sleep 12 people. Having two kitchens was perfect! The host met us at checkin and gave us a run down of facility and the best places to eat. We were about 7 miles from downtown Placencia so the resort was nice and quiet. “This property was better than I anticipated. AC worked wonderfully and had a ceiling fan if you prefer outside air. “Our stay at Honu was awesome. The location was perfect. It was a little outside of Placencia and Maya Beach which was great. Quiet area right on the beach. The pool was awesome to have. “The apartment was very clean, spacious and in a great location for the price. The pool was very nice, and cool after a hot day of touring. The wifi is weak, but seventeen.it is also very quiet condemn there is a popular bar just steps away. Communication with the host was spot on, they even held a parking space for us!”

Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. “Shelley was an amazing host. Always there tongreet you and help if you needed anything! I cannot say enough nice things about her. Our beachfront cabana was next to the bar. They did warn us ahead of our stay, but decided to go with it anyway. There were times it was loud, but not unbearable and worth the view on the beach and price. Julias is in a great location within walking distance of everything. For this reason we didnt need a car rental. Loved Placencia!”
