“Beautiful hotel in a great location right on the beach. As with almost all hotels in CR, the pool is not heated and too cold even in hot weather but the proximity to the beach and ocean makes up for it. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. Definitely request an upstairs room otherwise you need to keep the curtains drawn the entire time. Restaurant is high on price and moderate in quality but fine for post-beach snacks. “There is the buffet and snack bar. Snack bar is not open for dinner, its the steak house then. We ate most meals at buffets, and while small, food was not too bad! Snack bar does have made to order burgers! Oriental and italian were great with great atmosphere! You do have to go to the front desk to make reservations. We did premium so did get premium lounge which had better alcohol, and had room service which we did once. Drinks were only okay. We could not find a good margarita all week,...
