“The rooms were very comfortable (best sleep we had on our trip to Costa Rica) and we loved the pool, the beach, the sunsets, and the star gazing at night. We were there with our family. It is a bit remote so good idea to bring games and snacks if traveling with kids. The restaurant on the premise is expensive but serves creative dishes by a Michelin star chef using local ingredients.”

“We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. The room was great, and had comfortable beds, large bathroom, and AC. Highly recommend. The only struggle I had was getting assistance from the staff for arranging tours and activities even though their website mentions they can help. Highly recommend the Oropopo Experience guided Avellanas Wildlife Walk.”
