Besonders beeindruckend war der Garten, in dem es ein eigenes Faultier gibt. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets bereit, uns zu helfen, das Faultier zu finden und zu beobachten – ein echtes Highlight! “Nice hotel with good breakfast. The staff was friendly. Good parking possibilities. The only negative was that they did not serve any food (except breakfast) and that the roof made a lot of noise when it was raining (there are some kind of plastic protection on the roof of the room which make the rain sound a lot, hard to sleep without earplugs). ”

“We enjoyed our very short stay at La Bonita Lodge. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage so we spent most of our day in San Jose buying clothes before heading down to Puerto Viejo. We arrived late but had a nice dinner at Banana Azul and then were able to use the easy to follow directions to gain access to the property and our room. The room was spotless and welcoming. “It was very nice to stay out of town, yet conveniently close enough to walk to town. Very private and quiet. Just a couple of minutes walk away, from Nacho Mama's LB Burrito which was excellent! I will definitely stay at the Secret Jungle again. ”

“Property conveniently located in proximity to the town. Property is far enough from the main road that it is quiet. ”

“I truly enjoyed my stay at La Tribu. I would recommend it to any woman looking to have an enriching experience. I met so many girls from all around the world and the activities were so fun. I loved the girly aesthetic and it was very clean. I was a bit taken aback from the surrounding area, but apart from that I felt really safe. 10/10 I’m considering to come back again.”

“This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!”

“Wenn man sich auf das Abenteuer ein indigenes Volk zu besuchen einlässt, muss man sich natürlich auf Einfachheit einstellen. Man schläft auf abgenutzten Matratzen und die sanitären Anlagen haben schon lange keine Reinigung erlebt. Trotzdem war es eine und interessante und informative Zeit. Alle waren sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich, Wir wurden wunderbar bekocht, und man bemühte sich uns vieles zu erklären. Von daher ein unvergessliches Abenteuer.”
