“The staff here were amazing and attentive. The bungalows are cute and come with a fridge and coffee maker. Not fancy but private and very near the strip. They do get a bit chilly in the winter. The parking lot is gated and has security. We really enjoyed our trip and will be staying here again.”

“Very clean, the common areas and the unit where we stayed at, but very outdated, not pleasant to see. It was ok for our 1-night stay. For starters, the way to get to the unit, it's a very dangerous spiral stairs that don't feel very secure. The door knob to enter into the unit was not secured properly (wiggly) and not easy to open since the key would get stuck. The closet of the room smelled like mold due to a hole in the wall that is right behind the bathroom, where the tub is placed. Pillows...

“The pirate retreat is a great spot. Yes there could be some fixes here and there but the view and feeling like you’re floating above the waves more than makes up for some deferred maintenance. The retreat I would give five stars but for the overall property I need to deduct one star as there were big parties which took over the rest of the property and made the other amenities that usable.
