“Just like the picture. Vince was great at check in. Recommended great restaurants in Beddeck. We ate at the Seafood family restaurant. Excellent. Had the steak dinner. Coffee and tea in room. Great location.”

“I was contacted early on the day of arrival which was really nice as you immediately knew there were no problems with the reservation. Asked of any allergies were applicable in advance of breakfast the following morning. Upon arrival met by the owner and given all the information and shown to our beautiful room This location is like stepping back in time but with the modern touches in the bathroom . The bed and breakfast is very clean and the breakfast is a treat in itself with a Nova Scotia...

“We ate dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant before catching the ferry. The food was tasty and served hot. It was nice to just walk to the restaurant rather than having to drive somewhere else. The room was very hot and we could not turn the heater off.”

After rabbit was moved in, was then told that the rabbit couldn’t stay in there. Was offered a refund for the mixup, but then was told I’d have to request it through Expedia and after the whole misinformation with the rabbit, I didn’t trust that I would actually get the refund so our dog and rabbit had to sleep out in our vehicle overnight. “Un hôtel toute à fait différent de ce que vous voyez partout! Une maison ancienne, 1837, qui garde son cachet ancien, parfaitement rénové très caquette, on se croirait chez la grand-mère. L’hôtesse, Carmen, est très accueillante, une artiste en soit. Par ailleurs, la maison est tapissée par ses œuvres, des magnifiques tableaux!! Je vous le recommande chaudement.Merci à Carmen pour son accueil et l’expérience offerte! Ce fut un plaisir!”

“The hotel is showing its age, its carpets are worn & stained. The whole interior reminded me of the 1980's . But the bed linens appeared clean. there was hot water & the building while quite full with many young people was quiet enough to get rest. But if you need a cork screw, the front desk can't help you, make sure you have soap and shampoo of your own, as it's not worth using their sample packs. the ' breakfast' is very basic . its at best a 2 star motel.”

“Paul was very welcoming and accommodating, made us sandwich plates since the restaurant was not technically open that day. They have pet friendly facilities which is great. The grounds and trails to the shore were fun as well. We had spent 2 days on the go and we were able to actually unwind. Our unit had no tv and we did not miss it at all. 9/10 would recommend!”
