Hotel a Port Gibson

“The bed sheet had stains on them. The tv wouldn’t work. I did let the front desk know and maintenance was supposed to come never did. The check in and out was a breeze tho. We ate at the restaurant. Good was hot and service was good. Casino was small not a lot of games to choose from.”

“Hotel is old, and overpriced for what it offers. Had to wait an hour with a reservation for one of the clerks to go and clean the room before I could go in there. Its an older hotel it could offer breakfast at the least for the price you pay. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. Not many young people so the stay was problem free.”

“I had such a wonderful time at the Baer House! LaTonya, the house manager, treated me like royalty--and a good friend. The home is magnificent and not just cared for but loved. I would highly recommend staying here. It surpassed my expectations! Thank you, everyone, for making me feel at home.”

“The property was nice, the A/C in the lobby did not work the whole time. The A/C in our room was low freon, so never got cold and never removed the humidity the first night. However, when we returned the next evening, the A/C had been replaced and the room felt wonderful. The side chair needed to be in the dump, very dingy and stained, but the desk chair was comfortable as was the bed. Everything was clean and the staff were very kind, helpful and friendly.”

“This property was under some construction but our stay was very comfortable and quiet. It was close to the downtown historic district. We found a great brewery there. ”

“Parking was okay but someone was beating on my door saying they left a pillow in my room so I’ll never go back. It felt like a robbery attempt ”

“wonderful historic mansion. Bathrooms need updating. Found two dead cockroaches in our room. But at least they were dead.”

“Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff efficient. Didn't try the breakfast with A Crackerbarrel next door. Undergoing renovation. Not a major problem but the ceiling above shower had been repaired, but not repainted.”

“Love this place. A truly lovely house (that stairway!), delicious, innovative breakfast shared with interesting fellow travelers. The host was funny and welcomed us to far more items in the kitchen than one would expect. Highly recommend, and would gladly go back.”
