“Wonderful stay. Staff are a delight. Check in was easy and friendly. Room was great and even had a balcony. Supper was really good and great value. Staff here were unbelievably warm and friendly and helpful. I became part of their family!!. Room staff also friendly, offering to find us if we got lost on our hike. We should have stayed longer.”

It felt like stepping into a family cottage handed down through the generations with bits and pieces from every decade for a hundred years. We loved the old cottage feel with the comforts of today (internet, wifi, heat and plumbing!) The location was perfect for our 24 hour stay. “We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was well appointed and they seemed to know our every need. Quiet, on the water, a nice porch overlooking the bay, bbq equipment and plenty of information about the area. Also liked the 2 bathrooms, laundry and all the supplies that we needed. Convenient location to see the history of Trinity and short drives to Elliston (puffin site) and Bonavista (light house, more puffins and historic landing site of John Cabot).”

“Despite the wetter-than-average weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We've always loved hiking the Fox Island trail, and it was wonderful being able to do it right from our doorstep! The property was charming and on the few nice days we had during our one week stay, took advantage of the deck. Looking forward to returning!”
