“The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

“Endroit fantastique, vraiment propre et bien entretenu. Nous avons été pris soin, très bonne nourriture, matelas et oreillers très confortables, salle de bain propre. Nous avons pris un shuttle pour se rendre et revenir au début du sentier de Blue Mountain. Dire que nous étions hébergé chez Jay nous a permis de se sentir en sécurité dans cet environnement retiré”

“Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. “Beautifully landscaped property, the unit was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We set up an additional bed in the living room and it worked out perfectly! The hostess was lovely and helpful. I would stay there again!”

“The room was comfortable, and we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was exceptional, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my goddaughter’s shoes, which we brought from the USA, went missing from our room during our stay. We reported the incident, but the shoes were never returned. This was very disappointing and left us concerned about the security of our belongings. I hope the hotel will investigate incidents like this and improve its procedures to ensure guests’...
