“It's an interesting hotel but tired! Must be an ex naval personnel club or hotel I would guess due to the large collection of naval memorabilia. Nice and decorative inside in an old fashioned way. Convenient for the Historic Dockyard which is only about 10 minutes walk away and was the reason for our trip, and Gunwarf Quays. Good cooked breakfast at a reasonable price. Nice and clean and a comfortable bed. Enjoyable stay but wouldn't stay here again.”

“Struttura pulita, situata in quello che sembrava essere un vecchio pub. La signora alla reception gentilissima e molto disponibile. Stanza singola piuttosto piccola, ma essenziale soprattutto se ci si deve solo dormire, tra l'altro con una bella vista su parte della città. La zona è molto tranquilla e vicina sia alla zona del porto sia al centro città (10 minuti a piedi entrambe). Unica scomodità è l'assenza di ascensore che ti obbliga a fare tre piani a piedi, ma tutto sommato è perfetto....

“It was really modern and clean inside; shared kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, and free tea and coffee, which was great. “The room was in need of some love as far as decoration goes. The main lampshade was a large 'white' feather arrangement which looked filthy, had cobweb coming off it.The bed was fairly comfortable & bedding was clean. The bathroom was fairly clean although the area between the shower & basin looked dirty. The TV didn't have reception. Unable to rate staff as we saw no-one, entering & leaving via key safe.”
