“We booked the Alcyone for a friends party being held at Eagle farm racecourse and Alcyone location was within close proximity. Couldn’t fault anything, rooms clean and comfortable, easy checkin and communication. Would highly recommend and stay again if the opportunity arises.”

“This was a one night stopover between flights. We chose it based on other reviews and proximity to airport as well at the availability of a two room apartment. It was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Easy, direct link to taxis and walk to nearby cafes.”

“Location is great. Cleaning isn’t good, there was a lot of hair from another person on the bathroom floor, tiles in the kitchen were full of mouldy grout. Laundry area hadn’t been cleaned at all.”

“Over all was a great place to stay. I was on the 6th floor and had poor internet to stream on the TV, this was the only source for watching anything. The A/C could not be set any lower than 20 degrees which I found to be on the warm side.”

“Had everything you needed for a short stay.My room had a balcony which was very nice. Great to sit out there in the morning with a cuppa and the evening with a wine. Close to Doomben train station and both racetracks if you’re visiting for the horse racing. Easy walking distance to both”

“We only stayed overnight. Everything was clean and tidy. The coffee & tea facilities was a nice touch and the continental breakfast was an added bonus. It's very good value for money and so close to the train station which was perfect. I would definitely recommend it”

“good location. room/venue was clean. the only issues would probably be trying to bring heavy suitcases up the stairs from the underground car park and the shower being luke warm and the shower head moving all over the place. other than that it was a nice stay :)”

Il personale ci ha accolto con il sorriso, nonostante il check-in anticipato non comunicato. Puntuali nelle indicazioni, ci hanno fatto anche delle stampe gratuitamente, sempre con un gran sorriso in viso. Bell'impatto con la gente australiana. Per una notte è una buona sistemazione. Non offre la colazione e non ha un ristorante, la necessità di spostarsi ad...
