Hotel vicino a Powell Lake - Panama City Beach

“Very OK hotel. We have stayed at the Fairmont across Canada and other really nice boutique hotels but The Pearl is average in comparison. No gym at this venue. Pool is smaller than those found at people’s homes. The room was very comfortable though. Shower is nice bug that’s about it. For what they charge, you are really getting a very average stay. ”

“Great location, nice property. Close to Rosemary and Alys beach. Great looks, private beach. The only negative is that I reached out to the property several times prior to the trip with no response and it is a cashless property. The waitress did not tell us that and took 100 cash which included pur meal and tip . She thought 100 was her tip. The bartender informed us cashless and helped us get the money back. Other than that the pls e was beautiful ! Lots of hiking trails nearby also!”

“The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance standards. Sand was present throughout the room, the linens appeared unclean, and both the air conditioning and heating were nonfunctional. The pull-out mattress was in poor condition, with visible stains and what appeared to be pest droppings. Despite being a non-smoking property, the room had a persistent smoke odor, and we were incorrectly charged for it, even though no one in our party smokes. I...

“Terrible no sheets on pull out couch and no staff on duty to get any. Door to balcony broken. Soap dispenser empty. Loud banging and screaming all night long. Would definitely not recommend. Would rather pay a little extra for a quality comfortable stay. ”

“Be cautious. We booked knowing it was non-refundable if we cancelled, but La Quinta cancelled the reservation and did not refund our money. My son arrived before me and tried to check in. He is 19, which is against the hotel’s rules, but this was not posted on Expedia. I was thirty minutes behind him but when they saw that he was under 21, the reservation was cancelled. They said the refund had to go through the third party (Expedia), and Expedia claims they attempted to convince them to refund,...

“The beds were very uncomfortable, the bedding was poor quality, and the bathroom was extremely small. Overall, the room did not meet expectations.”

“The room we stayed in was one of the old cabana rooms beachfront. The room was not clean and had a bug problem. The air conditioning unit and the refrigerator was loud. The water in the shower was scalding hot and the water in the toilet was hot. The location is great, but would not recommend staying in one of the rooms in the older buildings. If we go back, I would definitely want to try one of the rooms in the new building.”

“This hotel was great. The room was huge, sparkling clean and all new. The mattress was very high quality and the sheets and pillows were good. The front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel far exceeded my expectations and I will stay here again. ”
