“Quick stop over on our way to see family in NJ. Hotel was clean, quiet room was spacious. Breakfast in the am was typical but the coffee was amazing. In demand grinder and brewer made the perfect cup. Checkout was simple and quick. ”

“Its a great quiet and serene place to escape to, less than 2 hours from DC. It happened to be dog friendly which was perfect for our needs. Many wineries and restaurants nearby. Onsite dining was excellent for dinner and breakfast.”

“If you enjoy history, you will love staying on this wonderful historic estate. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking out at the view with the mountains, the excellent breakfast, the friendly staff, and the charming cottage room with a real antique feel in spite of the necessary bathroom addition and very comfortable bed.”

“Property is very nice. Very modern. Very conveniently located in downtown area. No on site parking but many of the surrounding lots are free in evenings and on weekends. I was reluctant of the “no concierge” idea but honestly didn’t experience any problems.

“We were greeted upon arrival, the room was as described and pictured. It was clean with plenty of towels and good lighting at night. They had a better then average complimentary breakfast. The manager was on site and very friendly. He us multiple times if everything was okay and if there was anything he could do for us. I will stay there again when in the area.”

“Our favorite hotel during our recent multi-day travel vacation. This hotel and its grounds were so peaceful, relaxing, and unhurried. Staff was great, and the views were incredible. There were nice paths for running/walking around the property and into a local nice neighborhood. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!”
