Lodge a Prosperity

“Spacious room with couch for comfort. However it is an old motel and had rusty outside stairs to ice machine. In our room the cover to exhaust fan needed painting.”

“This house is an experience not just lodging. It would take a week just to explore all the supple nuances of this house. The location was convenient to all locations in Newberry. And convenient to Prosperity. This was ideal for our plans attending a wedding and other events. My wish is that the host provided a history of the house. We were there on the hottest day this summer. Some areas were hotter than others. We had options to set the temperature lower. But, didn't reaize it until...

“The Farmhouse is a gem! The rich history of this property is evident in how lovingly it has been restored and in the original elements of the home that are still present. The location is convenient to downtown Newberry and Newberry College. Alex is a terrific host. We hope to return soon!”

“Breakfast was a major disappointment. Two heating pans one on and hot, the other cold. Nothing in the hot pan but wax paper. Very little else to eat, apples and bananas, couple of bagels & waffles. No one available to talk to in the eating area. Went to the front desk to alert them of a hot pan on and nothing in it, I was informed that the hotel's new owners took control of the property that day, and she shrugged her shoulders with no further reply, No apologies or other offers nor was there...

“There aren't many amenities. They NEED an ice machine. However, the hotel was newer and clean. It was quiet. I loved the vertical cubbies! It kept everyone's things off the floor and out of the way. There should be a mirror above the desk instead of a picture. One mirror only in the bathroom hinders several people getting ready at once.”

“The bed was very uncomfortable and tu e pillows were flat. Sheets were once in 3 weeks, only after I requested it.”

“Very pleasant stay. Great staff.”

“Great place to stay while visiting friends. Good location clean hotel”
