“Great location right next to the train station and not far to walk to shops and restaurans. Friendly staff. Room is spacious and was ideal as it had a fridge and air con and the temp was 30 degrees outside so we got to go back and relax in the room with the air con. Stayed here a few times now and would highly recommend.”

“Hotel was clean and the staff helpful. Breakfast was very good but thought it was a little expensive. Had to pay for parking but this was reasonable and it was on site.”

“Sicuramente è un hotel molto carino con un buon serviIo e personale gentile. Molto complicato il parcheggio che non è nell hotel sebbene si siano attrezzati in modo da assicurarti il posto auto in un parcheggio affianco. Le camere non sono grandissime ma hanno l essenziale così come la colazione - molto misera rispetto ai soliti Marriott però comunque buon cibo. ”

“Two bulbs were not working so clothes unit and te a are were in the dark.The bathroom rack was red rusty where the towels were placed.Bathroom shelf was chipped all way along the edge.Needs repairs.”

“The property looks great and welcoming, The staff was ok, but I think they can show more care and interest to their customers needs. You can not leave an item in the room and you come ask two hours late there's no one knows about it.”

“Super hotel with super welcome! Great location in central Leeds. Friendly staff, clean room, we had a room with 2 double beds and still enough space. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Leeds.”

“This is a Grand Dame of UK hotels and yes it seriously could do with an upgrade and surely that will come - along with a tripling in room rates So yes, it has a bit of a musty feel to it but I put that down to old world charm It’s the people though that make this hotel special and their clear love of this aging queen - service was excellent and their clear morale very high - full marks for trying and also saving this piece of history”

“Hotel bellissimo. Siamo arrivate con il treno ed è vicinissimo, ma la zona ci é sembrata curata e sicura. Persino la sera del concerto siamo rientrate tranquillamente. Le camere bellissime. Spaziose, pulite e arredate con ottimo gusto. Non potrei desiderare di più. Lo scalone centrale, per salire al piano era bellissimo e ce ne siamo innamorate, tanto che ho mai voluto prendere l’ascensore. Tornerei subito , anche perché il prezzo era ottimo.”

“The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the swimming pool was the perfect temperature. We didn't use the gym. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from Headingly Cricket Ground (which is why we were in Leeds). We were in the bar watching the football for England v Croatia in the World Cup, but the service was still fast and there was a great atmosphere too.”

“Budget hotel needed for one night for a work trip. Room was clean, if a little dated / odd in its layout (took me a little while to find the toilet! Shower was fine. Tea and coffee in the room which was also fine. Parking was plentiful. I've stayed in a lot worse for more money in the past. Breakfast being included was different. Good value for the one night I needed it for. If I needed to visit Bradford again, I'd happily stay there next time.”
