“Good old pub. Family room large, and nice that it was provided with pods / machine for coffee and hot chocolate, and a kettle for the tea. Extra orange and apple juice, as well as milk in a fridge in the hallway. Local drinks available and we later sat by the fire. We had eaten earlier in the day so did not try and evening meal, but they were booked out Bed was firm and comfy, and we slept well. Cooked full "Miner's" breakfast in the morning, with mostly local produce was great. Other foods...

Very nice breakfast - served early at my request. Cute dogs. Room was charming and well equipped, although it could benefit from the one thing I couldn't find...a fan. Very warm in the elevated annexe in the summer. Overall, excellent.”

“Lovely tranquil campsite. We stayed in the 2 man pod, clean, comfortable and secluded. We had pizzas in the evening which were super delicious and so reasonably priced. Friendly staff, all round a great place to stay”

“A lovely place to stay and would not think twice about returning. The views from the property are outstanding. Just a short drive to Monmouth High Street with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. We stayed 3 nights over Easter in a very well appointed and comfortable room overlooking the River Wye.
