“The hotel was terrible. There were wall mounted air fresheners spraying constantly and the smell smacks you in the face the second you enter. They are definitely trying to cover something up. Bathroom fan didn’t work and obviously hasn’t for a long time cause there was a bunch of mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. There was broken glass on the floor in our room and garbage under the nightstand. The a/c was making a weird noise that kept us awake but it was too hot to turn it off. By far the...

“Clean rooms. Looks like they are in the process of renovating. Very nice staff. Pictures they have make it seem like they have full stove but only had 2 burners to cook on no oven. ”

“My husband I have a lot of overnight stays in Birmingham due to surgeries. This was the first time staying at Best Western, and the last time. The shower rod in the bathroom was about to come off the wall. The tub was rusted, there was dead bugs along the edge of the tub, you could tell that the floors had no t been swept or mopped in who knows how long. The bottoms of my socks were black. We even found someone’s sock in the closet, that tells u how well they clean. Even the baseboard was coming...

“Parking was kind of difficult cause there were a lot of commercial vehicles that parked on several parking spaces. Hotel should make designated parking spaces for them. The entire room was very clean and beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay again. ”

“No rooms were ready at check in. Told to come back 35-45min. Came back 1 hr 15 min later to be told maybe possibly in another hour. Came back again and was told rooms not cleaned yet and they could give a King instead of the 2 queens if i wanted otherwise might be a while. No fan in bathroom. Was an adjoining room with paperthin walls...and the adjoining door was paper thin as well. To "remedy" unwanted entry from the other room, they placed a wardrobe in front of the door knob. ”

“Note this is a brand new hotel. Overall this location exceeded my expectations. Caveat, they do NOT have any pull out beds or rollaway cots. A 1 Queen room sleeps 2 NOT 3. This is a beautiful building with a very modern and spacious feel. The grab-and-go area has the usual items, and a full-service bar and "bistro" offers quick snack-like meals ($$$).
