“What a truly amazing property! The first thing you notice when you walk in are the incredible floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the redwoods and the mountains across the way. We especially loved the mid-century feel of the entire place, just our style. Plenty of seating for everyone to watch TV at night or play games nearby, that is if you aren't too wiped out after playing in the river or exploring the nearby forests. “The property is in a great location and it has everything needed to have a great stay.”

“Overall the home was in good condition. A few items were missing or didn’t work in the kitchen. ( can opener, cork screw, etc) WiFi and television were excellent. Communication needs work. ( I had to contact host prior to check in and there was no check out instructions) The location has beautiful areas to visit locally, however nearby parks are difficult to drive to due to bumpy mountain roads. ”

“We had a great time while we were at Shelter Cove. The place was as described, beautiful place, right on the run way and golf course. Saw lots of wild life, which was great to see every day. The weather was perfect. I wish we knew more to bring more food than we did from home because it was pretty expensive to eat out daily and the town grocery store was quite expensive.”

“Best appointed rental that the four of us have ever experienced! Luxury on the edge of the world. The view was as good as it could possibly have been. The amount of wildlife that circled in the air and sea was rich and always changing. The walk on Black Sand Beach is still fresh in my mind and the sound was magic. So many favorite things about the house, it is everything we needed to decompress for four sublime days. Thank you Pauline & TommY!”
