“My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Topeka, from the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the staff and how they made thing so welcoming, they were professional and extremely helpful. I loved that this hotel was close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions.”

“Our room was very clean and maintained well. The breakfast was good and the coffee was hot.”

“This is my preferred hotel in Topeka. The rooms and hotel property are consistently clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the nearby restaurant options are pretty good.”

“This hotel is very run down and dirty. It smells so damp and musty and the tub had an unidentified yellow stain. The only plus was that the guy working the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating. Aside from that wouldn’t stay again.”

“As you walk inside, and look up in the lobby, they have water leaks and mold issues. The elevators were damaged. Worst of all BOTH rooms they showed us had visible mold in the showers. The person at the desk even came up to the 1 room, and noted the mold and lights not working in the bathroom. Staff stated to expedia, no manager, but there was one who assisted us when we were there. Expedia then told us since there's no manager we had to wait. We did NOT stay as I had to use an epi pen after...

“Beds were comfortable but high for shorter guests..no coffeemaker in room so that was unexpected.. shower handle was very hard to adjust/turn to get to temp you wanted in room 319 anyway.. was very quiet at night..parking was good and staff very friendly.. Should have plant milk option for breakfast..very limited plant based options beside toast/bagel.. hot oatmeal should be left plain and have condiments to add if you want. Here it had cinammon..raisins..sugar.. and butter all mixed in the...

“Breakfast was less than average and very expensive for counter service. Don't call it granola if all you do is break up a commercial granola bar. Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. ”

“Property appears to be in an exterior remodel project. Room was clean, but toilet didn’t flush right and ended up not flushing at all. Even the toilet in lobby area didn’t flush all the way, indicating it may be a property wide issue. It was an ok experience, but definitely not my favorite property and may not be one I would probably choose to go to again. It was pretty clean and staff was great which is why it had more stars than I typically would have given”

“Our TV did not work (no signal) and the staff was slow in responding so we just went to bed. It was ok. Our room had a connecting door, which we didn’t use, but it was so thin we could easily hear the conversation in that room. The breakfast was ok.”

“We stayed here one night first room was completely disgusting there was trash and pee in the bathroom and dirty used bedding and towels they told us there was no housekeeper to clean rooms we were on the 1st floor we were offered another room on the 2nd floor it was similar but a bit cleaner. When checking out we asked for our deposit back and the lady acted like we never gave them one. Definitely NOT STAYING HERE AGAIN !! ”

“Check in lady was rude when we notified them the facet in tub was running and unable to turn off. Had to beg for towels on several occasions. Staff even told us that giving us towels was not their job. Staff constantly on video calls when approached desk and were motioned to wait a minute. Only thing good about was it was clean, although sheets were stained, and location for us.”

“the staff was friendly and helpful. The property is not very desirable but I have seen much worse. I am beside myself at how much these places can charge for a place to sleep. If it were a decent place, that'd be different. No breakfast or even coffee pot. That was a negative mark for me. ”
