“Great place to stay and spend Fourth of July!!”

“A beautiful property with a lovely view, just outside of town. Needs improvement on the aging A/C unit in the bedroom which was very loud. The wooden blinds in all the rooms were warped and left in a lot of light, curtains would have been better.”

“As we walked in the building just smelled old. When we got to our room there were small bugs climbing up the side of the shower. I pulled back the sheets from the bed and there were multiple items directly on the mattress like a used tissue, pop tab, and a sock. Wr actually left a night early rather than pay for another hotel.”

“Room- Clean, a/c worked well. Sink smelled from the drain pipe. Also, ask for more towels for more than 1 day stay. Staff- Kitchen, guy didn't speak english. Just point to what needs replenishment. They have 2 coffee dispensers that grind whole beans per cup, no option. You're stuck with black, or adding half-n-half or 2 coffe mate pump flavorings. Slow system lines up the breakfast goers. Limited items, no milk containers for the kiddies. Did have yogurt and bananas. Shops- check on maps...

“We visited Gettysburg during a heatwave and the hotel was cool and comfortable all night. It was very helpful to have check in parking at the front entrance so we could register and then head to the nearby parking garage- especially as it was so hot and crowded in town. Our room was clean and spacious and cool at check in! I also really like the scan code to tip the cleaning crew- very convenient!”

“Personale svogliato. Solo al check-in con due operatori ho atteso 20 minuti perchè Lei doveva “sistemare delle carte” e lui non era disponibile. Alla colazione, 15 minuti di attesa per sedersi, entriamo e la sala era quasi vuota. Ho chiesto da bere, me ne sono andato a prendere in cucina. Ho chiesto del latte caldo per i bambini, sono andato a scaldarlo al microonde vicino alla reception. Tutto questo per la modica cifra di 17 $ a persona. Vergognosi. ”

“We have stayed here a few times throughout the years because we love visiting Gettysburg. The breakfast cottage is amazing. The mineshaft bar is super cool. It’s walkable to everything. They have an outdoor pool for summer and an indoor pool for winter. The outdoor pool has a really cool diving board.”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”
