“So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). Food is fab, especially the Sunday roast. We managed to get parking on each of the 3 days/nights we were there. The only thing to note is that the...

“They are having building work at the moment so a bit noisy at times. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom very clean. Excellent value for money. Included breakfast which was beautifully presented and tasty. ”

“Our room was very comfortable, spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is in a peaceful location surrounded by nature and was very quiet. All of the staff we interacted with were polite and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub for dinner. The only disappointment with our stay was the confusion over breakfast. In the room they advise a breakfast to go pack is available if you need to check out prior to 8am. As we needed to do that we asked the dinner staff how we organise that....

“As soon as we artived the owner met us and took us ti our topm. Explained the entry procedure. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. The only slight doenside we were led to believe there was a bar and food but it is currently being reurbushed.”

“The hotel is well situated and the room suited my needs but was very tired and in need of a spruce up. Walls very scuffed, shower curtain had brown stain all along bottom, and door chain didn’t work. Lots of little things which don’t do the hard working and very nice staff justice.”

Great, secure garden and a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from Burley village where you’ll find a lovely village store, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Great for forest walks. Our Springer had a permanent grin on during our stay!”
