“The hotel was clean, the room well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was the food in the restaurant, whilst very nice, was not the fine dining experience we were hoping for. The menu, which includes burgers and fish & chips, didn’t reflect the surroundings of the dining room.”

“The property really needs some maintenance to it. Very dated all round. Champneys used to hold a high standard name as a spa hotel but over the years it’s really lost its touch. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the spa facilities. Was in the spa for 2ish hours and not a single member of staff cleaning anything. Mainly the floors which were full of grit/hair/dirt. Edging of pool areas have algae. Really just needs a deep clean. We didn’t stay for dinner however we had breakfast...

“Although the room was relatively clean, I did not feel safe not having a locking out door especially after recent incidents at Travelodge The hot water was lukewarm and hardly running out of the main sink tap Mattress was lumpy not that comfortable mould in shower on ceiling. Staff are very friendly unfortunately this is a very tired accommodation walls incredibly thin. For a pub with rooms, it’s on the expensive side”

“Non tutto il personale e stato cordiale e gentile...alcuni meritano altri no....eravamo due persone in camera e il personale delle pulizie lasciava solo un asciugamano grande ed un piccolo.Per concludere l ultima sera non ci hanno lasciato la carta igienica”

“L'hotel ha un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. La camera era molto spaziosa e pulita. Bagno e doccia puliti. La colazione era essenziale. Molto utile la possibilità di effettuare il check-in a qualunque ora (noi siamo arrivati in hotel dopo l'una di notte).”

“The place feels more like a halfway house than a hotel. No shampoo or soap in the bathroom, room is tiny, bed is absolutely awful. Check on was basic and the whole thing feels poorly handled. Stay elsewhere if you can, the only plus is it’s near the station, but yeah, it’s a dump. ”
