“Fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were all lovely, and we even met the owners when we checked out. We ended up chatting with them for a good 20–30 minutes—they were so friendly and welcoming. The room itself was a charming little cottage-style room. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed: a comfortable double bed, plenty of space to put our clothes, a desk with lots of useful information, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a beautiful shower. “Instructions re which ramp to use (up or down) to enter car park under the apartment block were not clear. We went up ramp but key fob provided would not open the gates so had to reverse back down ramp to try the ramp going underground. Not a good start! On entering apartment found it to look a lot different to pictures on website. There was no coffee table or furniture unit. The floor was damaged in one corner by the table. The kitchen floor had crumbs over it, the skirting boards were dirty,...

“Staff were friendly, room was good size for us and our two dogs, found the bed rather firm for us and was rather closer to the motorway than I realised you would have heard traffic all the time if the window was open but luckily there was a fan. The on site cafe was great. Pet friendly, lovely people and good food. Would stay there again for that reason. ”

“Clean rooms, good food and food choice, friendly staff. I was less pleased that a couple came into the restaurant area with their dog which they allowed to walk on their chosen table. A number of members of staff obviously saw this but chose to ignore it. There seems to be little point in having a high cleanliness rating if dog owners are not only allowed to bring their animal in to the restaurant but then not challenged when abusing that permission”
