“I was there to visit a relative in the Saranac Lake hospital. The hotel was an easy commute to the hospital. The room was great. It was nice to walk along the lake and in the town before visiting hours. I didn’t find many places to eat in town, which was a down-side. But the restaurant attached to the hotel was good and convenient.”

“High peaks was great for our summer stay in lake placid. We were in the waterfront collection and the ease of lake and pool access from the room was amazing. The rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. I wish they had fixed the dock the other side of the lake to give more options to sit and view the lake. The included water activities was a real treat! I would love to see refillable water dispensers, they were nowhere to be found at the resort; in the summer especially, that would have been nice....

“We stayed in High Peaks for two nights in a waterfront room (716). The location is absolutely breathtaking. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, I gave it a 4 star for comfort as bed was a little hard for my liking but I know that is personal. The staff at the waterfront were helpful and friendly, the kayaks, paddle boards etc are free of charge and readily available.
