“It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too.
The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely.
Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle.
We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely.
It was like being in a fairy tale.

“Lovely little place. A little out of the way but actually only a 15 minute walk at the most from St Davids centre. Well worth the extra few pounds for the sea view. Lovely clean and comfortable room with a balcony. There is a restaurant on site but unfortunately it wasn’t open for Sunday breakfast. There is a garage adjoining it which is also an off licence that also sells snack food.”

“I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around”

“I can’t recommend The Wolfscastle Inn enough.. staff were soo attentive, welcoming and lovely! ( Seb/Richard and ladies) The food at the inn was delicious, breakfasts and dinners! ( nice one Seb and team) The family room was perfect, plenty of space and cosy and clean.. I’ll definitely be back! Perfect location and such a cosy pub to return too. Richard even provided us with free takeaway drinks for our journey home, so thoughtful. Such a great stay! 👌👌🎉”

Ever so slight improvement touches to bring it up to ultimate standard; bigger TV in lounge (could easily accommodate a 50”) and, because of the configuration of the bedroom, the only location for a TV would be in the bed footer (and they are available).
If dining at the Twr y Felin maybe a transport service could be offered. It would not need to be permanent but that would make for a first class service.”
