“A proper working farmhouse very clean, tidy and an excellent host, not to mention the excellent breakfast”

“This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place ”

“We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.”

“Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

“Easy to find and easy to access, with everything you need for a short stay (microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, etc.). It's a straightforward drive to Ringwood town centre where there's ample parking at the Waitrose/Sainsbury's carparks, and the town has a number of cafes and bakeries. Also very close to Moors Valley County Park, which is a great wood and open space.”

The daily hand baked cookies in the room were delicious. It is a peaceful location in the New Forest. They have a large outdoor space where you can enjoy drinks or food. ”

La stanza che mi é stata assegnata, però, era esattamente sull'aspiratore della cucina, il che equivale a rumore e odori non gradevoli con la finestra aperta, e dato il caldo non era possibile lasciarla chiusa. Ritornerei, ma non in quella stanza!”
