Hotel a Rocky Gap

“Nice quite little place to stay for a few days, easy to accesss, great staff.Kellee at front desk is terrific!”

“I would have given 5-stars if I wasn’t on the second floor above the entrance to the lobby and eating area. Staring at 6:00 AM people were slamming the door to the steps that our hotel door was next to. It was constant from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Good staff, clean, and comfortable.”

“The room was not clean when we checked it. It had dog hair all over the floor. Dust could be found on the fixtures. The bedding had cigarette burns on it.”

“Augustus at the front desk was very polite and helpful. He was awesome even when the system was messing up our reservation. The room and hotel are dated, but very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is only cereal and milk. We asked for a later check out and they said absolutely not because the cleaning staff needed to go home….”

“This is a great hotel. We stayed here for the second time on our way from Toronto to Myrtle Beach. It was as good as last year: very clean - when you enter it smells cleanliness (Lysol:), the room is also very clean and fresh. I think we also got the same suit, at least it looked very similar. It was very quiet, beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious - I love biscuits & gravy. Highly recommend!”

“Great place for the night”

“TV only worked on 4 channels. Room was clean but badly in need of renovation/repairs. Parking lot had a few very sketchy people hanging around late at night. There are better choices not too far away.”

“La salle de bain était dans un état lamentable, le plancher était collant et le lit qui faisait du bruit ! Il devrait être rénové d’ici quelques mois selon les employés sur place. Aussi le déjeuner n’était pas inclus comme mentionné dans la réservation.”

“The room was clean but beds were so hard. I woke up and my back hurt so bad. Also, there was a strong chemical smell in the room the next morning. Told the Mgr and she said they were going to renovate. Will not do this hotel again.”

“Carol at the front desk, was simply wonderful! The only thing we had a bit of a struggle with was adjusting the temperature on the shower. Otherwise, the stay was fantastic.”

“While I was staying for a few days and the rooms were clean I had to request my room to be made and towels to be changed as it was not done automatically. Otherwise, hotel is quiet and clean but far from downtown. Good breakfast. Pretty good stay overall”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Price was better than most locations. Lots of restaurants within walking or quick drive from the hotel. We did not take advantage of the amenities, except for the breakfast which was satisfactory -- pretty much what you get at any hotel that offers a "free" breakfast.”
