4 Star Hotel in Rome
Data di pubblicazione: 10-ott-2016
The hotel is situated in a safe and quiet area in Rome with many Embassies nearby. However, we did feel that the hotel was rather expensive and lacked many basic facilities for the four star category that was awarded to this hotel. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. Only BBC News on the television and no payable films in English.
The bedrooms were quiet with comfortable beds and pillows. The cleanliness in the rooms was excellent with clean towels and sheets everyday.
One of the front reception staff, Simone, I think his name was appeared rather surly and unhelpful whereas other members of staff were excellent. Of particular note, was the barman Pavio who was fantastic. He told us about excellent restaurants to visit nearby and even booked our table for us. He was also an outstanding barmaid. We would definitely award him 5 stars. We did make the comment that it would be helpful for guests if hotel staff had their names on badges as this would have helped with more efficient communication. We were told, however, that because the hotel was family run and only had a few staff that this was not necessary. I think the point here was totally missed!!!!!!!
Overall a pleasant stay but not an outstanding one.
