L' hotel e' situato in un elegante palazzo in una via tranquilla a due passi dal Colosseo.La camera assegnataci era spaziosa e ben arredata con un grande comodo letto e dotata di ogni confort.Ho apprezzato la pulizia sia della camera che delle aree comuni,molto bella la hall.La colazione viene servita all'ultimo piano nella terrazza con una splendida vista sulla citta' e il Colosseo,con buon assortimento sia di dolce che salato,buonissimi i cornetti serviti caldi.Il personale e' stato gentilissimo e professionale e ci ha fornito preziose informazioni per la visita della citta' e dei dintorni.Sicuramente sara' un piacere ritornare in questo eccellente hotel.

The hotel was not as centrally locates as indicated . The toilet was broken and ran all night, preventing me from sleeping . There was also some motor humming all night long, which also added to my non sleeping . When I advised the front desk, the toilet was fixed that same day, but I lost a whole night of sleep and was tired all day while touring .

Eccellenza a due passi dal meglio della capitale
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per un soggiorno ideale per turismo e lavoro. Pur essendo a pochissima distanza da Colosseo, fori imperiali, altare della patria e Campidoglio, le camere sono perfettamente insonorizzate. Ottima disposizione degli ambienti con bagno che non si affaccia direttamente sulla camera da letto. Bagno con finestra. Ottima la dotazione della camera, accappatoi e ciabattine comprese. Letto king size di una comodità davvero rara de non unica. Splendida terrazza per colazione. Personale attento ad ogni minima esigenza e pronto ad anticipare ogni desiderio. Non a caso scelto come location cinematografica.

The front desk was very friendly, helpful beyond belief and a pleasure to talk to. My wallet fell under the bed, I hadn’t noticed, and only when we were far onto our next destination did I notice they had been trying to reach me to tell me. They organized shipping it to me and I’m very grateful.

We stay there for 7 nights. I'm not sure why this hotel has such a high rating but our experience is definitely not as high as we expected. The hotel is a 3-star in disguise and it shows with the quality of the service they provide. When we first arrived outside the hotel gate with our suitcases, the receptionist saw us approaching, despite knowing there is a flight of stairs to climb in order to reach the lobby, she neither offered nor facilitated another employee to help us. Her attitude does not make you feel welcomed, and she even says "you're welcome" before you say "thank you." When you go in and out of the hotel, only occasionally the person at the bar would greet you, the people at the reception would literally pretend to be busy so they don't have to greet you when they see you coming. This hotel is also stingy AF, they only provide you 1 time free INSTANT coffee in your room. They provide you with so many mini-bar options that they can't even keep track of if you used any. I had to tell them that they placed an extra bottle of water and handed it back to the mini-bar person to avoid the charges, in the end, the reception still tried to charge me with it. Anyway, this is the most disappointing hotel experience I had in my Italy trip, especially after our wonderful time in Florence. By the way, ask them to change your room if it's on the first floor. It is really noisy and you get no privacy as it is next to a road in an area full of bars and restaurants.

I like the convenience of having complimentary bath soap, hand soap, lotion, shaving kit, cotton tipped swabs for cleaning my ears after showers, and makeup remover kits; the safe and quiet area; the cleanliness of the hotel, and that my linens and used towels were changed. One constructive feedback to hotel management: Please alert guests on your website/reservation website and at check-in of the following so that international travelers who may not be aware of your hotel’s or of Europe’s unique technologic regulations are not caught off-guard: 1) your hotel has safety technology that requires the electronic key card to always be inserted and stay inserted in the key card holder slot in each room not only for safet teasons but also to control the lights in the room; tell guests that lights will not turn on if this is not done; I was not told this latter part, so I had to ask how to turn lights on. because I forgot to put the key card in the key card holder slot; tell guest to remove and take the key card with them when they leave the room; 2) the electric outlets do not work if guests have only two-pronged plugs on their ekectronic devices; tell guests where to buy compatible adapters; 3) there are no irons. The things I did not like: No iron; the hotel was so old that the bathroom fan did not work, so the bathroom fogged up after showers. If I had had a longer stay, I would have said something to management, but my stay was only two nights, so I said nothing.

The room was beautiful, spacious, very modern, and had a very comfortable bed. The front desk and maintenance staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and the Colosseum, Forum. A couple of lights didn’t work and maintenance had to come fix the TV connection, and our maintenance request was responded to quickly. I highly recommend this place and would stay there again.

Overall, the stay at this hotel was pretty average. The staff was pleasant to interact with and the bartender in the bar below was excellent. The rooms are comfortable with good bedding and pillows. It is on the quiet side and bit further away from some of the busier and exciting areas in town (spanish steps, etc). But is in a great location if you are looking for a place near the colosseum (six minute walk). House keeping did a good job of cleaning the room but the tea / coffee were not refilled regularly and neither was the body wash. The most disappointing part was the bathroom. We had two connecting rooms and the smaller bathroom had a shower area that was an extremely small enclosed square with no lighting. The bathroom smelled like mildew and it had a noticeably bad smell all the time. We developed an allergy after two days of staying there and when looking around we noticed that the bathroom had a lot of black mold on the ceiling of the shower area. It was not immediately noticeable as the shower area does not have any lights. We took a video of the same but not sure if we can share it in this review. To give the hotel credit they did “clean” the mold after we informed them of it but were not apologetic about it and almost seemed annoyed. Additionally, in the second bathroom the water did not flow in the sink smoothly and the sink would just fill up while using it. In summary, if not for the mold in the bathroom would probably have given it a 4 rating.

Jewel in Rome's crown
This is the nicest hotel in all of Rome, at least among the many I've stayed at! Wonderful staff, luxurious accommodations, great breakfast, perfect location at the quiet end of the street but near the Colosseum and restaurants.
