“We have stayed here before and as last time, it was perfect. Charles is a wonderful host and when we turned up late on a Sunday evening with few local dining opportunities, he created a delicious platter of cheeses and meats for us, including an aged Brillat-Savarin that was just divine. He helped us get away for the channel crossing on time by accommodating us a bit early for breakfast. The room (Reims) was very comfortable, with a shower and bath. Highly recommended.”

“Family of four heading South.The hotel was easy to find and with plenty of secure parking.The hotel was modern, spotless and the reception friendly. The room was like a mini apartment sans kitchen, with a separate toilet, shower room, two bedrooms (one double, two singles). Super comfy beds and we all slept the whole way through. Breakfast was more than adequate. If you are looking for the absolute best breakfast (a sport for many, including us), this is not it, but don't let that deter you....

“This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in. Once we were in the room was nicely decorated with a good shower. Bed was two singles pushed together with a double sheet over and worked reasonably well as...
