“Nice place”

“Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. “Beautiful stay in very well presented rooms. Everything you needed for your stay. Bed extremely comfortable, room lovely and clean. Fantastic choice for breakfast where you are able to pick from a varied menu and what time you wanted in the morning. Sam and Wade extremely friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely be back. ”

“It's the staff that make this hotel stand out , closely followed by the food ,which was apparent during breakfast no short cuts on quality, using local suppliers. The biggest surprise was the Saturday nights entertainment with a local group playing all the classics. Rooms in keeping with the traditional vibe that goes with the rest of the hotel. ”
