May not be suitable for families or female travellers due to the activities happening downstairs (casino and the corner shop, can get a bit rowdy at times). "Billy’s cottage was a haven. Our luggage took 3 days to arrive but the cottage and the docks were wonderful. It’s quite a walk to the centre of Dublin, we sometimes ubered which made it very easy (NB - eirecode is very important as the cottage isn’t easy to find otherwise). But would love to stay again and heartily recommended."

There's one small bedroom with a double bed and a much larger bedroom with 4 single beds. We were not given check in instructions until the morning of arrival. The listing had a 2pm check in time. But after landing we were told it was now 3pm and later 3:30pm. I was instructed to go to a street corner look for a bike chain with an attached lock box and get the key from there. Kind...

"Had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful and cozy apartment! It was in a perfect location, we were able to walk to restaurants and local pubs, but it was far enough away that we had peace and quiet as well. Sleep great, which was needed after a long travel day. It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The landlord was very kind, responsive and accommodating. I even forgot my headphones when checking out and he drove to the bus stop just to give them back to me, so...

"Service staff were brilliant. Pleasant, friendly and always very attentive and quick to assist with anything needed or answer any questions. The room was great with excellent facilities for a traveller looking to prepare their own food etc with the kitchenette and a decent sized fridge. The room and hotel were reasonably new however showed signs of “high traffic”, ie marks on walls and some stains on the sofa bed, a little mould in the shower. Pricing is a little high for things like laundry...
