“Property was very clean. Breakfast was included. Refrigerator was stacked with beverages (had to purchase; but convenient). Carla, our host, was very helpful. Minutes walk from bus, ferry, restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for 5 people. ”

“This property was a dream stay for us! We stayed for a month and it was very hard to leave. Upon arrival I had the pleasure of meeting Paolo and Mara. They were the sweetest…accommodating and welcoming! They had milk, water, snacks and even a bottle of wine waiting for us! VERY much appreciated after a long day of travel. They left great restaurant & activity recommendations that we took advantage of during our visit.The location is amazing: the flat is located in the heart of beautiful Varenna!...

“We hebben hier een geweldige vakantie gehad. Cannobio, Cannero en omgeving vinden wij erg mooi. We hebben genoten van deze mooie vakantiewoning. Uitzicht werkelijk geweldig en de tuin en balkon zijn een grote plus voor deze vakantiewoning. Sommige aspecten aan deze woning zijn wat gedateerd maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed. “Charmant gelegenes Häuschen in einem verwinkelten Dörfchen mit Steinhäuschen an einem steilen Hang oberhalb von Brissago. Schön eingerichtet und gemütlich mit Kaminofen. Ohne WiFi. Gerne wieder bei besserem Wetter! ”

“Maison dans un cadre fort reposant. Deconnexion, repos, balade, baignade, barbecue. Les vacances quoi ! Accueil et disponibiite des prprietaires italiens tres sympathiques. On vous recommande cette adresse si vous souhaitez vous reposer dans un cadre "Relax" Petit bonus, nous avions chaque soir un spectacle magnifique la nuit. Une danse de lucioles, visible de la terrasse de la maison. ”

“Wunderbar eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Allerdings sollte sich ein Tischler um das Bett kümmern. Angenehm wäre auch, wenn es Insektengitter gegeben hätte. Die Mücken waren gnadenlos. Bei günstigeren Ferienwohnungen in Brissago waren sie vorhanden.”

“Mariella and Fausto are an amazing couple, great hosts, and they make visitors feel special. The house is beautiful, and the hosts take care of every detail, like welcome drinks, treats, excellent travel tips, and much more. The place is incredibly peaceful, full of nature, and very close to the lake. Nearby sites are also amazing, especially Santa Caterina del Sasso and Laveno. Laggo Maggiore is a great place to visit. Max the dog is a sweet heart. ”

“The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car”

“Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

“POGNANA LARIO est un village étonnant, pittoresque à souhait. Des vieilles maisons accrochées à une forte pente. Habitations construites pour beaucoup avec des énormes pierres, qui se faufilent entre des sentes étroites pavées de galets, où l’on se perd le premier jour, mais d’où on apprécie la vue sur le lac dès le deuxième jour.Si vous venez en voiture, une petite auto est recommandée car les routes sont souvent étroites et les virages raides. Les propriétaires mettent à disposition un box...
