“Struttura pulita, situata in quello che sembrava essere un vecchio pub. La signora alla reception gentilissima e molto disponibile. Stanza singola piuttosto piccola, ma essenziale soprattutto se ci si deve solo dormire, tra l'altro con una bella vista su parte della città. La zona è molto tranquilla e vicina sia alla zona del porto sia al centro città (10 minuti a piedi entrambe). Unica scomodità è l'assenza di ascensore che ti obbliga a fare tre piani a piedi, ma tutto sommato è perfetto....

“Have to say I was super impressed with this inn. First off, the rooms aren’t big but they are comfortable and the bathrooms are big for England. The bed linens were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Would come back for those alone but really the best part of the entire stay was the staff. Specifically David and Anja. They were incredibly nice, amazingly friendly and super helpful. Some of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. Thanks to both of you. Great place to base a tour...

“Lo consiglio. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico difetto è stato il check in lento e una strana procedura per cui ti addebitano 20 sterline all’arrivo sulla tua carta di credito nel caso consumassi qualcosa (ma in realtà non c’è nemmeno il minibar). Poi con un’altra strana procedura te le riaddebitano al check out ma non ti danno una ricevuta del riaddebito. ”

“Wykeham Arms is absolutely charming historic coaching inn/pub, enlivened by charming staff and decor. Our room was a fun mix of comfort and quirk. The bed was particularly comfortable (including linens, pillows). Food at Wykeham arms is outstanding, creative and served with joy. Small point-the upstairs stairwell could use a bit of a refresh.”

Colazione continentale molto buona e personale disponibile e molto molto cordiale. Posizione strategica, vicino alla stazione di Alton, fermata del bus a meno di 100 m, ideale per gite nei dintorni. Ottimo il ristorante, piatti tipici molto buoni e curati e prezzi onesti. Un esperienza indimenticabile.”
