Hotel vicino a Rutland Water Golf Course - Oakham

“Enjoyable third one night stay over recent years near to Christmas as a stopover to visit relatives in Oakham. Christmas trees and lights decorations looking good. Good view of Rutland Water and easy access to it through the gardens”

“The hotel was fine but broken reading light (reported but no action), paper ordered but then forgotten, buggy often late. On first night no information about the buggies - choice between steep steps or so called “ramp”which was a lounge winding and very steep path. With heart condition very difficult. Room in Oakham faced blank wall - should have been warned. Universally nice staff but overall a bit lackadaisical.”

“Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

“Basic hotel but absolutely fine. Good value for money and great location. Be aware the Room 1 is over the kitchen and their air conditioner produces loud buzzing noise in the room until late. Staff sympathetic but unable to help. ”

“Albergo "pittoresco" ; arrivi e devi telefonare per farti aprire la porta. Ambiente buio e stretto; scale larghe 70 cm... Nessun hotel in Italia potrebbe essere autorizzato. La camera era fredda e piccola; il calorifero spento. .”

“La struttura è antica, bellissima ma poco manutentata. Vetro rotto in camera, tappeti e moquettes ovunque poco puliti. C'è molta polvere. Le persone di servizio sono molto disponibili e gentili. Il ristorante degno di nota.”
