The space

Unveiling an aura of boutique elegance, Kalypso House blends spaciousness with the comforts of home, offering an idyllic backdrop for creating cherished memories with family and friends.

Picture this: after a stunning day on the sandy beach of Camber, coming 'home', and stepping into a modern, well-appointed kitchen-diner that beckons with the promise of shared culinary delights. With a fully fitted large kitchen, double oven, HOB, dishwasher, washing machine, American-style fridge freezer with ice trays, microwave, kettle, and toaster, leading nicely into a spacious dining room, a large entertaining dining table. ​

Once finished indulge in relaxation in the lounge, where a generously sized flat-screen TV invites you to unwind in style. For added comfort during the winter months, we also offer a charming log burner, making your stay extra cosy and perfect for those chilly evenings. Logs can be sourced locally from shops around the area.

Night-time presents an array of choices: The Master Bedroom has stunning views of the sand dunes. With its comfortable King-sized bed, soft velvet blackout curtains, smart TV, luxury velvet single sofa chair, large fitted wardrobe, and 2 bedside tables with storage.

The second bedroom has a full-sized double bed, blackout blinds, a bedside drawer, a smart TV, a small clothes rail with hangers, and a small storage space.

Finally, in the third bedroom, you will find our full-sized comfy single bunk beds accommodating both adults & children, blackout blinds, a bedside drawer, a smart TV, a small clothes rail with hangers, and a small storage space.

Freshen up in the well-equipped shower rooms, conveniently placed on both the upper and ground floors. Please note, the facilities are shower-centric. Towels are provided.

Step outside to a private oasis adorned with a snug seating area and FirePit. (A portable 4-person Hot Tub is coming soon). Your pets are well-catered for too, with the entire outdoor space thoughtfully enclosed for their security.

As you arrive there is ample parking space for three cars right at the property, ensuring ease and accessibility during your stay. CCTV is active, overseeing the outside of Kalypso House.

Other things to note
Dogs:- We extend a warm invitation for you to bring your furry companions – up to two small to medium well-behaved dogs are permitted (at an additional cost), please let us know first if you wish to book young pets such as puppies as these may be declined. Larger dogs might feel cosier elsewhere.

We ask dog owners to observe the following rules:-
Dogs must be under strict control at all times while in the property.
Dogs must be fully house-trained and guests must ensure that pets do not defecate inside the property.
For comfort, we suggest you bring the dog’s bed or basket for sleeping in along with towels for drying.
Dogs must not be left alone in the property for long periods.
Dogs must not lie on beds or furnishings, and hair must be well cleared up before departing.
Dog owners must ensure that their pets are free from parasites and fleas before they occupy the property.

**Guide dogs are permitted to stay in the property and no additional premium will be payable. Guide dogs however must be declared at the time of booking.
