“Clean room, quiet property, beautiful garden sitting area. Bed was comfy. Decent place for a quick stop.”

“The fan in the bathroom was bent/ broken. Looks like the unit wasn't cleaned and now shampoo or conditioner. Mold was on the walls near the bed and mold and holes in the bathroom. sliding door was broken. Wouldn't recommend it regardless of locations, Go to the Governor's Inns, way better rentals and worth the price. Will not be coming here again. Staff was super rude.”

“I have now stayed at the Echo Lodge in West Sacramento 4 times in the last 2 months and have stayed in 3 different rooms. It has quickly become my favorite affordable motel in the Sacramento area. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, everything works, and it is surprisingly quiet. Today when I walked into the office, she not only recognized me, she had already pulled up my reservation in the computer. She welcomed me back and handed me my key. I can't recall anything like that ever...

“Cat lady next room over had cats meowing all night and female was talking loud with tv full blast. Walls are thin. Did not sleep! Went to front office with no one in sight to assist. ”

“Very spacious and clean room. Location was great for walking to downtown Davis or walking through the arboretum. ”

“The room looked clean and the beds were neat. However, there was a smell that was like that of homeless people who have not showered for days. I also saw a few cockroaches (or other bugs) in the bathroom area. There are nearby restaurants and a grocer, and the freeway is very close. This location is convenient for travel. I did not use laundry service and my interaction with the staff was minimal but okay.”

When it stopped, it sounded like the truck ran over a dozen coke bottles. The furnishings looked 50 years old, with dings and scratches. The nightstand had no lamp, and the chair at the working desk gave me a backache. Wi-Fi was feeble and slow - I got better results tethering to my phone hotspot. Parking was...
