“AC was non existent. Room was hot and stuffy. Dirty run down room. Bedding was worn and cheap. Elevator was broken. Had no help carrying luggage upstairs. Bathroom had no vent, Breakfast was okay but coffee was awful, discolored hot water at best. Pool/hot tub area was rundown. Only one jet worked in hot tub, timer was broken, concrete crumbling. All outside and pool doors did not latch for security purposes. Road into hotel was worse than a dirt road. Very bad experience. ”

“This was such a fun place for a getaway weekend. Close to downtown South Haven Michigan and yet far enough away to feel like you were out in the country. This was a great glamping experience. Btw, my compliments to the chef! She nailed the food that we ordered in AND the complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing. We will be back! ”

“The rooms are always clean and cozy. The staff is top notch and treats all guests like family. Happy hour in the lobby is an amazing way to meet the other guests. We gave stayed twice in room 17 and once in room 10 and look forward to our next stay. ”

“This is a great resort in South Haven. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice. It’s about 2.5 miles to walk to the central part of South Haven for lots of restaurants and bars. I will be back!”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”
