“I booked for 1 day and stayed for over two week. Great value comes with breakfast and the room and bathroom beautiful and clean. The room i stsyrd in was a beautiful surprise. The room is on the second floor in family home. Felt safe and comfortable. ”

“We had an amazing stay. The family room was spacious and nice. Every attraction is in walking distance, which is great since our kids 7 y.o. and 9 y.o. don’t want to walk too much. ;) The staff at The Fourt House is perfectly accomodating and made our stay even better due to their heartwarming art. The breakfast was outstanding!”

“This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. ”

“Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country.”

“I loved my stay at The Prince of Galle. The hotel was well-located down a fairly quiet street, near some cute cats, and a 30 second walk to Galle’s spectacular sunset. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe and looked after by the exceptional team who couldn’t do more to help. This hotel (and their cinnamon French toast) was one of my highlights in my trip to Sri Lanka.”
